Bonus Round 0 is now closed, and Bonus Round 1 is now open! Let's get creating, shall we?

This round, the theme is book-based AUs.

If you have an idea for something you'd like to see, please leave a book title, the characters involved, and any other details as a PROMPT below. Then read through everyone else's prompts, and leave a FILL for any which catch your eye. Fills can be in any media, and they need not be long, but please put a little effort in--if anyone starts spamming this post for points, we'll be able to tell.

You should place PROMPT/FILL, your current team affiliation and a brief summary in the comment title. NSFW prompts and fills should mention this in the summary or at the top of the post.

You will be awarded five points per prompt for the first five prompts you leave. The first three fills posted for each prompt will receive 15 points, the next three 10 points, and the next three 5 points. Prompts with ten or more fills will no longer receive fill points.

Bonus rounds are still rarepair only, but you can post prompts or fills for any rare ship this round, including gen/platonic ones (which should be indicated with an & as above). However, you may not fill your own prompt. We also encourage people not to fill prompts from their teammates, although the points will not be deducted if you do.

Bonus round fills can include links provided they are publicly viewable. Works can also be cross-posted to other websites, as there is no anonymity requirement in bonus rounds. However, works posted directly to comments will be limited to 16,000 characters by the Dreamwidth comment limit. Longer works should therefore be divided between multiple comments.

Remember, Team Chuck can participate in bonus rounds, and if you change teams, points earned will transfer with you until the end of the team shuffle period.

This round will close on October 6.

The armoire had come in not a few hours ago, and Castiel looked at it with some interest. It was an old piece, made of the most gorgeous looking wood, and he was fascinated by it. The carvings were skilfully done, and Castiel leaned closer.

"Nice wardrobe, eh?" Castiel looked back, meeting Crowley's eyes. Crowley had employed him at the antique store a few months back, and Castiel had found he quite liked the Brit's strange personality.

"It's great!" Castiel said enthusiastically, and Crowley moved forwards to pull the door open.

"And full." He said lightly, gesturing towards the dozen or so fur coats within.

"Oh. What do we do with these?" Castiel asked, and he stepped up and into the wardrobe in order to reach up for one of their hangers, but he slipped and fell forwards, and where his hands landed in the back of the wardrobe (but there shouldn't have been anything back this far, that wasn't right, there wasn't space), they landed in something cold and powdery under his fingers. "Cr-Crowley?"

"Get out of the wardrobe, you idiot."

"No, no, Crowley, get in."

"I'm not getting in a wardrobe full of fur coats with you, if you want some privacy we can just-"

"No! Castiel's cheeks coloured as he pulled himself up, scrambling forwards and towards the light filtering in at the back of the wardrobe. "No, Crowley, there's something back here, you have to come and see."

Crowley grumbled and sighed as he stepped up and into the wardrobe, and Castiel moved forwards, out and into the light. It was snowing. It was odd that it was snowing, given that a moment before it had been 35 something celsius outside, but now the snow came down in gentle little flakes, dropping onto the ground and joining the white blanket there.

"What the bloody Hell is this?"

"It's incredible." Castiel said, spinning on his feet and looking up at the clouded sky, enjoying the feel of the flakes landing on his cheeks and clinging to his suit.

"It's bloody cold." Crowley muttered, crossing his arms and huddling his shoulders. Castiel turned to stare at him, incredulous. An entirely different world in the back of an old armoire where snow was falling and he was whinging about the snow.

"Are you serious?"
"Yes, I'm bloody serious!"

"Well, get a fur coat."

"A fur coat? Don't be ridiculous! I'll look silly!" Castiel stared at him for a good two minutes, not speaking. Crowley got the fur coat.

Gabriel had owned the store with Crowley for a good few years now. He wasn't all that enthusiastic about antiques, not in the way Crowley was, but he enjoyed being behind the old fashioned cash register and serving a customer for the sake of hearing it ding.

They owned two stores together now, with each of them mostly sticking to their own, but Gabriel's candy store closed two or three hours before Crowley's did, and he got so bored.

He moved into the room, perplexed as he noticed there was no Crowley nor a little brother in a dumb trench coat to be seen. "Hello?" He called out, but no one responded. He looked around and then moved into the backroom, noticing a new armoire. "Ooh, cool." He murmured to himself, taking a step forwards, and here he looked inside.

He stepped up to grab at fur coats and stumbled as Castiel had an hour ago, and fell forwards, he stared into the snow covered clearing, at Crowley watching Castiel make snow angels in the back of the wardrobe, and then at Castiel taking Crowley's foot out from under him and climbing atop him.

Gabriel withdrew from the wardrobe, put forwards the "closed" sign on the store window and then walked briskly home. Magic wardrobe or not, he didn't need to know that much about his partner and his brother's sex life.
