Bonus Round 1 is now closed, and Bonus Round 2 is now open!
This round, the theme is holidays/special occasions.
If you have an idea for something you'd like to see, please leave the ship, a holiday/special occasion, and any other details as a PROMPT below. After you've posted, read through everyone else's prompts, and leave a FILL for any which catch your eye. Fills can be in any media, and they need not be long, but please put a little effort in--if anyone starts spamming this post for points, we'll be able to tell.

You should place PROMPT/FILL, your current team affiliation and a brief summary in the comment title. Do not forget to change the title of the comment when posting a FILL as a reply to a PROMPT. NSFW prompts and fills should mention this in the summary or at the top of the post. Reminder that team names must be in alphabetical order (ie. Balthazar/Death, not Death/Balthazar) and that portmanteaus (ie. Lubriel, Annaby) are not allowed when identifying team affiliation.
You will be awarded five points per prompt for the first five prompts you leave. The first three fills posted for each prompt will receive 15 points, the next three 10 points, and the next three 5 points. Prompts with ten or more fills will no longer receive fill points.

Bonus rounds are still rarepair only, but you can post prompts or fills for any rare ship this round, including gen/platonic ones (which should be indicated with an & as above). Due to some unforeseen complication from last round, we have changed the rules. It is now 15 points per fill for the first three fills by three different people. So if someone does a fic for Fill 1 and a fanmix for Fill 2, then get 15 + 10 points, and then Person 2 does a fill and Person 3 does a fill, so even though those would be fills 3 and 4, they count as 15 and 15 points since they're fills by new people. You are still not permitted to fill your own prompt. We also encourage people not to fill prompts from their teammates, although the points will not be deducted if you do.
Bonus round fills can include links provided they are publicly viewable. Works can also be cross-posted to other websites, as there is no anonymity requirement in bonus rounds. However, works posted directly to comments will be limited to 16,000 characters by the Dreamwidth comment limit. Longer works should therefore be divided between multiple comments.

Fill: Team Castiel/Lucifer, Adam's Graduation
Date: 2013-10-20 10:07 pm (UTC)The worst part was that it should have been one of the happiest days of his life. Here he was, graduating from college summa cum laude, already accepted into several prestigious medical schools, and Adam Milligan just couldn’t shake the cling of misery. For one thing, he was about a decade later than where he should have been. Of course, it was through no fault of his own; he was a model student, but he’d lost so much time rotting in that horrible place in the bowels of Hell. He shuddered. He didn’t want to think about that.
But that wasn’t even the worst part of it. The worst part was just how profoundly alone he felt. He woke up to find that all of his friends had aged a decade without him, moved on with their lives and forgotten him in his mysterious disappearance and, perhaps, presumed death. He understood that there was such a thing as a natural order, and the truth was that, regardless of how badly he missed her, Adam didn’t want to be selfish or cruel by pulling his mother from her blissful Heaven that he had been assured she had.
A sharp jab of an elbow to his ribcage jerked him from his thoughts.
“Psst! You’re up!” hissed the boy beside him.
“Adam Milligan,” the announcer said carefully, dragging out each syllable of his name for the second time in an attempt to get his attention or confirm his absence.
Adam frowned as he rose to go trudge across the stage and collect his diploma. Frankly, he wasn’t sure why he had even come to the ceremony other than the fact that his mother would have wanted it and there were rumors that diploma processing was faster for those who walked the stage.
He trudged up the stairs, careful not to trip, and bowed his head solemnly to have the tassel on his cap moved from one side to the other.
“Congratulations, son,” the dean said gruffly, shaking his hand.
Adam nodded and murmured his thanks as he moved to step by him, caught completely unaware by the exuberant whoop that came from somewhere back in the crowd.
“WAY TO GO, ADAM!”
He coloured scarlet up to his ears. It had to be the parent of one of his classmates, someone who realized that nobody was going to clap for him and acted accordingly out of pity. Still, for a split second, he’d thought he’d recognized the voice.
When the ceremony was over and Adam had caught his hat from its celebratory toss into the air, he clutched his diploma envelope to his chest and tried to push through the crowd to get out. He hated to be bitter, but the last thing he wanted to see were happy families hugging beloved children, loved ones and friends simply gushing at how proud they were. He wanted to get to his car, go home, and order a pizza.
“Hey!”
That same voice from before tickled his ears, but it was lost under all the noise of the crowd.
“Hey!”
Adam almost turned, but he was quite certain nobody would be calling out to him.
“I said, ‘Hey!’ Adam!”
It was a common enough name, but the voice was so silkily familiar that he had to turn to investigate. He felt his chest clench with an overwhelming force of shock when he observed the tall blond man pushing his way through the crowd with a distinct air of agitation, slightly shorter brunet in tow.
“I was start to think you’d lost your hearing,” Lucifer huffed, finally catching up.
“You’re here,” Adam breathed, eyes wide.
“Of course we’re here. I’ve had the date marked for months.”
“It’s true,” Michael said with a sigh. “He bought a calendar and everything.”
Lucifer grinned.
“That was your voice…”
Michael frowned, nudging Lucifer in the ribs. “I told him not to yell.”
“It’s a celebration. You’re supposed to yell. Other people were yelling.”
Michael frowned at him, and Lucifer smiled again.
“I was blending in.”
“Is that what you call it?”
The sibling bickering was heartwarming for how harmless it was. However many thousands of years they had passed in that cage had, apparently, been enough for them to work out their problems. Most of his memories of that place were lost, thankfully, but Adam could still recall the way Lucifer had wailed when Sam’s soul was torn from his arms. Michael had gone to collect him shortly after, pulling him into their corner, holding him close, and shushing him. Adam didn’t understand their language, but the way they touched and caressed and held each other spoke volumes, comfort and love instead of the violent arguing that had defined the earliest years. They surrounded him after that, wings wrapped around his soul to shield him from as much damage as they could. He’d clung to them, desperate for the relief, and soon enough, they were all clinging to one another.
The way they hugged him against both their bodies at once was a beautiful reminder of what they’d become to each other.
“I didn’t think you would come,” Adam confessed, voice breaking with the strain of holding back tears. “You’re so busy and--”
“We’re never too busy for you,” Lucifer whispered, kissing his hair gently.
“Ugh,” Michael muttered, straightening his shoulders and wiping his eyes quickly. “We’re supposed to be celebrating. How do you celebrate such events?”
Adam shrugged. “When I graduated high school, my mom took me out for dinner.”
Lucifer brightened. “Dinner. Excellent. Let’s do that. We can get Italian and--”
“You always want to get Italian when we eat,” Michael sighed.
“That’s because Italian is the pinnacle of human cuisine, dear brother.”
“Even if you were correct, which I am not saying you are, it isn’t up to you to choose this time.”
“I was simply making a suggestion.”
“Oh, is that all?”
Adam smiled as he followed along, listening to the playful banter and watching the way the archangels seemed to almost dance across the parking lot. Italian sounded good, if only to see the smug little smile that Lucifer would give and the melodramatic way Michael would roll his eyes and pretend to be bothered. Really, Adam didn’t care what they did or where they ate. He was just happy to have finally found his family.
