Bonus Round 1 is now closed, and Bonus Round 2 is now open!

This round, the theme is holidays/special occasions.

If you have an idea for something you'd like to see, please leave the ship, a holiday/special occasion, and any other details as a PROMPT below. After you've posted, read through everyone else's prompts, and leave a FILL for any which catch your eye. Fills can be in any media, and they need not be long, but please put a little effort in--if anyone starts spamming this post for points, we'll be able to tell.

You should place PROMPT/FILL, your current team affiliation and a brief summary in the comment title. Do not forget to change the title of the comment when posting a FILL as a reply to a PROMPT. NSFW prompts and fills should mention this in the summary or at the top of the post. Reminder that team names must be in alphabetical order (ie. Balthazar/Death, not Death/Balthazar) and that portmanteaus (ie. Lubriel, Annaby) are not allowed when identifying team affiliation.

You will be awarded five points per prompt for the first five prompts you leave. The first three fills posted for each prompt will receive 15 points, the next three 10 points, and the next three 5 points. Prompts with ten or more fills will no longer receive fill points.

Bonus rounds are still rarepair only, but you can post prompts or fills for any rare ship this round, including gen/platonic ones (which should be indicated with an & as above). Due to some unforeseen complication from last round, we have changed the rules. It is now 15 points per fill for the first three fills by three different people. So if someone does a fic for Fill 1 and a fanmix for Fill 2, then get 15 + 10 points, and then Person 2 does a fill and Person 3 does a fill, so even though those would be fills 3 and 4, they count as 15 and 15 points since they're fills by new people. You are still not permitted to fill your own prompt. We also encourage people not to fill prompts from their teammates, although the points will not be deducted if you do.

Bonus round fills can include links provided they are publicly viewable. Works can also be cross-posted to other websites, as there is no anonymity requirement in bonus rounds. However, works posted directly to comments will be limited to 16,000 characters by the Dreamwidth comment limit. Longer works should therefore be divided between multiple comments.

Remember, Team Chuck can participate in bonus rounds, and if you change teams, points earned will transfer with you until the end of the team shuffle period.

This round is now closed.

Lucifer doesn't like most of America's usual holidays (Easter is pagen, Christmas is the wrong date, Columbus committed genocide). The problem is that Castiel /really/ loves celebrating, loves decorating, picking out gifts, making a special dinner. So he starts celebrating obscure holidays that Lucifer won't completely hate. Could be really recent ones (Pi day), holidays that are celebrated in other countries (Rwanda's national holiday) or just holidays that pretty much no one celebrates anymore (dominion day). Bonus points for Castiel getting a little carried away.

Casifer - Human!AU

------

“So you chose Pi day this time?” Lucifer asked as he was forced to sit down at the table while Castiel explained why he had called him over to his apartment today. “A math holiday? Couldn’t you at least have picked something more interesting?”

“Well it’s not exactly a math holiday Luc,” Castiel says as he goes back into the kitchen and this times he comes back with a pie. “We can take it as pie day,” he said, grinning as he cut a slice for Lucifer and placed it on his plate, “Go on take a bite, it’s the basic apple pie. I thought I’d try something simple…”

For the sake of making Cas happy, Lucifer takes a bite of the pie. It tastes exquisite. He’s never tried any pies before and damn now that he’s tried it, Castiel can bake!

“It’s…really good,” Lucifer mutters as he takes another bite, he can get used to Castiel’s cooking, “I think I’m going to get fat…”

Cas smiles, “I’m glad you like it,” he says as he bites into his own creation. He hadn’t been expecting it to turn out this good either.

“If Pi day is all about pies I think I can grow to like this holiday.”

“There’s more!” Castiel says as he quickly swallows another bite of the apple pie.

“Oh, the boring part…right. I almost forgot.”

Lucifer was surprised to see the cheeky smirk that crept onto Castiel’s face. Just what has he got planned this time?

“Okay so sometimes, people hold competitions on Pi day. Now these competitions are to see who can remember Pi to the highest amount of decimal places. I think you’re going to like it.”

Lucifer cocked his head to the side, “How so? It’s just going to be the two of us throwing about a couple of stupid numbers.”

“It’s a competition,” Castiel said in a singsong voice, “so like any competition there’s bound to be a prize.”

“Do I get to choose it on my own? Or are you the one who’s going to steal all the fun?”

Castiel finished off the last of his apple pie, “Well you can choose your own prize.”

“Now that’s more like it,” Lucifer grinned, “Okay…if I win,” he began as he looked across the table to Castiel, fixing him with his stare, “I want you to kiss me and then we’ll see where things go from there.”

Castiel felt his cheeks heating at Lucifer’s words, but he nodded, giving his consent. “And if I win, we celebrate a proper Christmas this year. With a real tree and we invite friends over.”

Lucifer made a huge show of his displeasure rolling his eyes and all, but he agreed, “As long as it makes you happy.”

“Good, so let’s begin. 3.141”

“3.14159”

It took a moment before Castiel gave his answer, “3.1415926”

“3.14159265…three.”

“3.14159265358”

Oh god…this was going to take forever, he thought as he gave his next answer, “3.141592653589793”

Castiel was counting on his fingers now and a smile began to creep onto Lucifer’s lips. “Give it up Cas,” he muttered as he sat back. He had of course read up about Pi day in advance, knowing that Castiel was bound to try to do some celebration for it together with him.

“Wait…just gimme another ten seconds.”

Lucifer began to do a countdown, his grin getting wider as he watched Castiel all flustered. He couldn’t help it when he finished the countdown, he began to laugh, “Do you really fear kissing me Cas?”

Castiel shook his head, “No…I’m just…shy…” he muttered as he stood and rounded the table, standing before Lucifer.

“There’s no need to be shy about kissing or anything that comes after that. It’s a good thing,” Lucifer purred as he pulled Castiel into his lap.

Castiel wrapped his arms around Lucifer and then slowly he moved closer, leaning his head in as he closed his eyes. He shuddered when he felt Lucifer’s lips bump against his. He felt as Lucifer smirked into the kiss, his arms going around him and pulling him closer.

Lucifer bit Castiel’s lower lip, his tongue giving a searching sweep into Castiel’s mouth and making him moan softly as he pressed closer, fingers going to thread in his hair. Castiel was slowly beginning to grow bolder as he kissed back, his tongue swirling around his, taunting and teasing him. Lucifer growled, he liked this; he liked feeling Castiel pressed against him, lips parted for him as they kissed.
When the Castiel pulled back for breath, Lucifer moved his kisses to the other’s neck, “You know…if all holidays went along this line…I doubt I’d feel the need to hate them at all Castiel. You do make them so much more interesting.”

Castiel gasped, “I could help…” he muttered in a daze, trailing off as he felt something hard pressing against his hip, Lucifer…

“Oh yes,” Lucifer growled as he easily scooped Castiel up into his arms, headed for his bedroom, “you can help indeed.”
