Bonus Round 1 is now closed, and Bonus Round 2 is now open!
This round, the theme is holidays/special occasions.
If you have an idea for something you'd like to see, please leave the ship, a holiday/special occasion, and any other details as a PROMPT below. After you've posted, read through everyone else's prompts, and leave a FILL for any which catch your eye. Fills can be in any media, and they need not be long, but please put a little effort in--if anyone starts spamming this post for points, we'll be able to tell.

Fills can be in any media, and they need not be long, but please put a little effort in--if anyone starts spamming this post for points, we'll be able to tell.
You should place PROMPT/FILL, your current team affiliation and a brief summary in the comment title. Do not forget to change the title of the comment when posting a FILL as a reply to a PROMPT. NSFW prompts and fills should mention this in the summary or at the top of the post. Reminder that team names must be in alphabetical order (ie. Balthazar/Death, not Death/Balthazar) and that portmanteaus (ie. Lubriel, Annaby) are not allowed when identifying team affiliation.
You will be awarded five points per prompt for the first five prompts you leave. The first three fills posted for each prompt will receive 15 points, the next three 10 points, and the next three 5 points. Prompts with ten or more fills will no longer receive fill points.

Bonus rounds are still rarepair only, but you can post prompts or fills for any rare ship this round, including gen/platonic ones (which should be indicated with an & as above). Due to some unforeseen complication from last round, we have changed the rules. It is now 15 points per fill for the first three fills by three different people. So if someone does a fic for Fill 1 and a fanmix for Fill 2, then get 15 + 10 points, and then Person 2 does a fill and Person 3 does a fill, so even though those would be fills 3 and 4, they count as 15 and 15 points since they're fills by new people. You are still not permitted to fill your own prompt. We also encourage people not to fill prompts from their teammates, although the points will not be deducted if you do.
Bonus round fills can include links provided they are publicly viewable. Works can also be cross-posted to other websites, as there is no anonymity requirement in bonus rounds. However, works posted directly to comments will be limited to 16,000 characters by the Dreamwidth comment limit. Longer works should therefore be divided between multiple comments.

Date: 2013-10-07 02:19 am (UTC)He’d always been a sort of mummy’s boy and sometimes he didn’t like it. Especially on Valentine’s Day when he got gifts from some of the girls at school, his mother would never cease to tease him when he came home with at least two, if not three bags full of goodies. He was going to miss that here.
Just after lunch there was a knock at his door and Kevin stiffened. Who can that be? He hasn’t even met anyone since moving here. Maybe it’s just his mother. Or something she delivered. He checked the calendar as he went to answer the door, 14th February. If it weren’t his mother or something from her he’d be surprised indeed.
To Kevin’s surprise he receives a lovely bouquet of flowers from the postman, under the watchful eye of a neighbor further down. “Strange,” he mutters as he holds the bouquet in one hand, signing for it with the other before kicking the door shut behind him.
As he walks over to the table in the living room, a card falls out. Kevin sets the bouquet down, then bends to pick the card up. Hopefully he can find out the person who decided to send this to him.
Dear Kevin, it began. Okay so the person knew his name.
Happy Valentine’s Day. I was wondering if you might want to go out with me? I couldn’t help but notice you when you moved in the other day. All the boxes were in the hallway and I couldn’t get to my apartment. Your mother was nice enough to help me move them.
Kevin smiled, that sounded like his mom alright overly friendly and way too helpful for her own good sometimes. He continued reading.
Anyway, I’d really like to show you around town so, tell me if you’d like to come with me. Sam.
Below the name was the number of the apartment two doors down. Wasn’t that the artist guy with the shaggy hair that he’d seen staring at him a few times before? Kevin thought him to be very hot but then he’d given up because he didn’t know if he liked him back. Who knew that he did?
When he’d finally made up his mind, Kevin checked himself in the mirror making sure he looked presentable before he headed out of the apartment and down the hallway to find Sam.
Sam paced the length of the room once more. Fifteen minutes. That was how much time that had passed since he’d seen Kevin receive the flowers. Maybe he’d thought wrong, maybe Kevin wasn’t interested in him. A soft knock on the door stopped him in his tracks. Could it be?
He rushed over to the door, took a deep breath and opened it seeing Kevin there, holding the card. His heart stopped.
“Hi,” Kevin said a small shy smile on his lips.
“Hi,” Sam squeaked a reply as he leaned against the door, supporting himself. Kevin was actually here. He swallowed, “So you got the card,” he said nodding his head, stating the obvious. He wanted to sock himself for saying something so stupid but he was nervous and he couldn’t think of anything else but that.
“Yeah. I got the card,” Kevin replied as he averted his eyes, “You wanted to show me around town?”
Sam smiled, “Yeah,” he answered. It was actually a date but…well he’d chickened out and gave the excuse of showing Kevin around town instead, “If you’re free that is,” he added giving a nervous laugh. Thank god Kevin looked just as nervous as him from the way he fidgeted.
“I’m free tonight. If you’re free maybe…y’know…” Kevin trailed off.
“Yes. Tonight. I’m free,” Sam said grinning now.
“Great, alright. I’ll um…see you tonight?” Kevin asked as he backed away now his insides turning to mush at the thought of tonight and Sam. He looked really cute up close he also had a really nice smile. And really nice hair.
Sam nodded, “Yep, about seven-ish?”
“Sure,” Kevin said as he continued walking backwards towards his apartment. He didn’t want to look away from Sam for a moment. He gave another nervous smile.
“Oh Kevin wait!”
Kevin stopped, raising a brow at Sam. “What?”
Before he knew it, Sam had run out of his apartment, gripped his wrist and leant in to kiss him squarely on the lips before he pulled back just as quickly. He felt his cheeks burning bright red, his heart pounding hard in his chest. He bit his lower lip as he lowered his gaze, shy. Sam kissed him! He’d actually kissed him right there in the hallway!
“Happy Valentine’s Day,” Sam said, slipping his hand into Kevin’s and squeezing it gently before he let go, “I’ll see you later,” he murmured watching as Kevin nodded seemingly in a trance before he headed into his apartment.
Sam was sure that they would enjoy tonight. He’d better go and get ready.
FILL, Team Crowley/Sam, Breakfast
Date: 2013-10-08 01:18 am (UTC)The freedom was good, even if it was maybe a little lonely. Kevin was happy enough. Valentine's Day was coming up, but Kevin hadn't taken any time to meet girls or guys or... Well. Anyone, in all actuality.
It wasn't that Kevin was anti-social or anything like that, but he just didn't really have the time to go and hang out in bars - he had work to do, and he did enjoy spending his time on it, especially as he could work from home with no stress from meeting people or anything like that.
Kevin had broken up with his girlfriend before leaving home, not wanting to leave her hanging, and now, here he was. Alone. Without anyone. At all.
Well. Maybe it was a bit lonely.
It was Valentine's Day morning when Kevin left the house, and he moved to get groceries in the morning, before most everyone had woken up and taken the best lemons (they always took the best lemons) and damn it, Kevin liked the cook with a bit of lemon juice and he would never stoop to that sugared shit in a bottle.
He walked home with his fruit and a few assorted groceries, but then stopped short on the stairs. The bouquet in front of his door was gorgeous, in red wrapping paper, of a dozen or so roses. "Oh." Kevin murmured, taking a step forwards and leaning to pick up the card.
You look absolutely gorgeous. We haven't spoken before, but I'd like to.
Sam (202)
The man was standing a little nervously in the corridor, and Kevin looked to him, offering him a small smile.
"Sam." He greeted. "I'm Kevin. I'd, er, well, I'd shake your hand, but I've kind of got my hands-"
"Oh, God, sorry, look, I'll take your bag and then you can open your door-"
Sam helped Kevin unpack his groceries, and watched as Kevin carefully set the flowers down on his coffee table. "Uh, um, would you like some breakfast?" Kevin asked. "I mean, I've got waffles, if you like them."
"I like them." Sam said softly. "I'd, uh, I'd like that, too." Kevin beamed at him.
"Great. Great." Sam grinned right back.
