Fill, Team Balthazar/Castiel, The Scarlet Letter AU [NSFW]

I haven't actually read the book or seen the film but I really wanted to write something for this. I sort of modelled it to The Crucible by Arthur Miller though...so I hope it turns out alright! ^^

Sinners.

Scorned and forced to live in a cabin in the deeper parts of the forest, away from the main part of town.

How stupid can they get? Giving sinners their own privacy to encourage the sin.

How is this a sin?

It is love.

Dean lies beneath him moaning, whining, and calling his name. His legs are wrapped around his waist, a hand gripping tight to him, the other curling and uncurling against the sheets. His face and neck is flushed red and a sheen of perspiration glistens against his skin in the flickering candlelight. He is beautiful, perfect.

“Benny!” Dean cries, hips eagerly thrusting down on his erection, wanting, needing. “Fuck...” he pants pulling him closer so that their foreheads are touching. Benny knows Dean is close to his orgasm, he doesn’t say anything as he continues to thrust into Dean, filling him up. He shifts now, a hand curling around Dean’s shaft stroking him to completion.

A smile flits over Benny’s features as Dean is pushed over the edge his body shuddering, legs trembling around him as he ejaculates with a keening moan. He feels warmth cover his chest. Dean still clings on to him, letting him finish. Benny looses himself in his lover, holding Dean close as his release comes crashing down upon him, his seed spilling into Dean, flowing out from his nether entrance and coating his thighs as he pulls out.

He doesn’t say a word still as he gathers Dean in his arms, pulling the man against his chest his nose buried in his hair as he inhales the musky scent of his lover. He loves Dean. He loves him so much that it hurts. Benny doesn’t care what the others might say. And he knows that neither does Dean. To think that Dean Winchester, the eldest son of the pious blacksmith loved him, a mere woodcutter back, it was a dream.

“Are you still thinking?” Dean asks, his fingers stroking over Benny’s arm. The man wasn’t always this silent and when he was, he was thinking.

“Yes.”

Dean sighs and presses himself back against Benny’s warmth, he doesn’t know how else to comfort him. As he lies there his eyes spot the scarlet letter ‘H’ sewn into Benny’s shirt hanging off the edge of the bed. It’s as if even an inanimate object wishes to remind them that what they have, what they want, is a sin. Dean moves his leg, kicking the shirt off so that he doesn’t have to look at the stupid letter. Then he settles down again, watching the shadows from the candle flicker on the walls of the wooden cabin, he cannot be any happier lying here in Benny’s arms in the aftermath of their lovemaking. He loves Benny and he can’t see why the rest of their community won’t accept them being together.

“Benny,” he says turning in his lover’s arms to look into the man’s blue eyes. He sees the pain there; he knows Benny blames himself for this. “We are equally to blame,” he says his hand stroking Benny’s stubbled cheek, noting how he leans into his hand like a wounded puppy, “One cannot simply fall in love without another.”

“I didn’t think that you would sacrifice yourself like that,” Benny whispers, his hand resting against the curve of Dean’s hip, “You had so much to loose. A family, a house, your inheritance and you gave it all up.”

Dean laughed shaking his head, “What good is all that when you don’t have someone to love?” he asked, “I love you Benny Lafitte and no matter what they say, don’t you go thinking otherwise.” Benny opened his mouth to say something and Dean stopped him, pressing a finger to his lips. He fixed him with his eyes, “We aren’t sinners,” he whispers, “Loving someone isn’t a sin. Loving a man isn’t a sin. It’s still love,” he pauses letting it sink in.

Benny blinked back tears at that as he leant in to kiss Dean. What would he do without him?

“Loving you was the best thing that ever happened to me, Dean.”

How can something so sweet be a sin? Benny still doesn’t know.

He knows that they are not sinners, they are just men, two men in love.

This isn’t a sin.

This is love.

Time will pass and with it, they will come out of this stronger still.
