It's 1963, and through coincidence Dean Winchester and Benny Lafitte end up taking a job together to herd sheep through Wyoming for the summer. The two end up falling into a relationship, though they both assure each other that it's a "one time deal" and Dean insists that he "ain't no queer," and the two part ways once the job is done with. Both get married and live normal lives, though eventually they meet up again and find that all of the feelings are still there. They then continue meeting up for several years, though each time Dean refuses to stay with Benny, and the two always part ways at the end of their trips. After a fight, Dean doesn't hear from Benny for a while, until he receives a postcard marked "deceased."
this would probably also work with other ships, like Anna/Ruby, or Anna/Jo, or like Michael/Lucifer... Or pretty much anyone really
