srs2013Bonus Round 0 is now closed, and Bonus Round 1 is now open! Let's get creating, shall we?
This round, the theme is book-based AUs.
If you have an idea for something you'd like to see, please leave a book title, the characters involved, and any other details as a PROMPT below. Then read through everyone else's prompts, and leave a FILL for any which catch your eye. Fills can be in any media, and they need not be long, but please put a little effort in--if anyone starts spamming this post for points, we'll be able to tell.
You should place PROMPT/FILL, your current team affiliation and a brief summary in the comment title. NSFW prompts and fills should mention this in the summary or at the top of the post.
You will be awarded five points per prompt for the first five prompts you leave. The first three fills posted for each prompt will receive 15 points, the next three 10 points, and the next three 5 points. Prompts with ten or more fills will no longer receive fill points.
Bonus rounds are still rarepair only, but you can post prompts or fills for any rare ship this round, including gen/platonic ones (which should be indicated with an & as above). However, you may not fill your own prompt. We also encourage people not to fill prompts from their teammates, although the points will not be deducted if you do.
Bonus round fills can include links provided they are publicly viewable. Works can also be cross-posted to other websites, as there is no anonymity requirement in bonus rounds. However, works posted directly to comments will be limited to 16,000 characters by the Dreamwidth comment limit. Longer works should therefore be divided between multiple comments.
Remember, Team Chuck can participate in bonus rounds, and if you change teams, points earned will transfer with you until the end of the team shuffle period.

All her sisters had shorn off their beautiful hair in a bargain with Lilith the Sea Witch to allow her to return to the sea. All she needed to do was to take the dagger that her sisters had procured from the Witch and stab it through the prince’s heart.
She sat in bed now looking at the dagger fingering the intricate design on the hilt. Meg had been invited onto the ship with Castiel and his new bride. Yes, the prince had married another. Meg had thought that she had charmed him enough with her dance, though it hurt so much just to let her feet touch the ground. She couldn’t speak, couldn’t tell him that she was in love with him. She couldn’t tell him how much it hurt when she danced or how much it hurt when she saw him falling in love with the other woman.
Her bargain with Lilith had been her voice to gain legs to live on land. Lilith had warned her that she would never be able to return to the sea and as soon as Castiel was married to another woman, her heart would break and she would turn to sea foam the very next day. But thanks to her sisters, they had bought her some time. It would soon be sunrise. She still had a chance to kill Castiel and save herself. She didn’t want her sisters efforts to go to waste so she silently slipped from her room. Each step across the deck of the ship sent waves of pain up her legs, yet she made no sound.
Meg entered Prince Castiel’s cabin, seeing him soundly asleep next to another woman, his wife. A small sad little smile flickers across her lips seeing Castiel asleep, an arm thrown above his head. His bare chest rising and falling with each breath he took. Meg silently crossed to his side and sat down on the bed. Castiel seemed to shift closer towards her. Meg felt tears welling up in her eyes. She would never get to say the words ‘I love you,’ to him.
She stroked her hand lovingly down his stubbled cheek, a silent choked sob escaping her lips as she gripped tight to the dagger. Meg let the cold steel blade press against Castiel’s chest, right over his heart. He wouldn’t even know that he had been stabbed as he slept. Meg’s eyes travelled to the woman who slept beside Castiel, turned on her side, back to them. Imagine her pain when she found Castiel dead the day after their marriage…
‘I can’t do it!’
Meg wasn’t going to kill Castiel. She couldn’t. It wasn’t for the princess. She wasn’t doing this for the princess. She was doing this for herself. Meg knew that she wouldn’t be able to live with it if she killed Castiel. He was the first person that she had ever loved and the last. Leaning in, she pressed her lips to his forehead in a chaste kiss.
‘I love you Castiel. Please take care of yourself.’
As the sun began to rise that morning, Meg threw herself overboard her body meeting the waves as she was reduced to nothing more than sea foam. Above her, the ship continued on sailing into the bright rays of a new day. The prince, Castiel, wouldn’t even know that Meg was missing until it was too late.
He would never see her again.
